On late cars, 2001> it is most definately on the tyre pressure sticker as Wheeler says. This is the case with my 2004 Berlingo.
I can take a picture if required.
What confuses people is that on these later cars, the RP number begins with a Zero and ends with 2 letters, like FV. My Berlingo reads 09926FV and was built on 12/1/04, considering that I registered it on 21/1/04, that is pretty good! Obviously, very recent RP numbers (after April 04) do not have the Zero in front, and begin 1, e.g. 10004FV.

Many thanks for the help. We looked all over the inner wings and suspension turrets at the weekend but couldn't find anything resembling the Saxo's and Xantia's RP stencil. We looked at the figures on the tyre pressure label but didn't recognize an RP number. Having read Wheeler's post and also the reference on page 38 of GSF's Cit/Pug catalogue, the mystery is solved.
