I'm fairly sure that the sensor injector on my 2.1 is faulty and intend to do a swap with a mate's 2.1 to check. I borrowed the special injector socket from CJ Diesels. The chap there also gave me a s/hand 1.9td sensor injector and said that it should be ok in my engine. If so, I was welcome to make an offer. GSF do not list injectors for the 2.1 Xantia and the XM parts list doesn't include the sensor.
Can the 1.9 & 2.1 items be interchanged??
Thanks,
1.9/2.1 td injectors - swappable?

Did you have any luck with the injectors? By co-incidence I found some 2.1td injectors in my Garage that I forgot I had. They were replaced in an attempt to solve a problem on my car, but new ones didn't make any difference, so I can safely say these are in good condition.
If you need any, give me a shout on [email protected] and and we can discuss terms, otherwise they will go on ebay.

Hi, Twiss
For what it's worth, the 1.9 injector seems to work fine. I am assuming that with the electronic pumps then the pump only delivers the quantity of fuel required according to the feedback received. I don't claim any great understanding of the black art of diesel fueling, but I would imagine that, for most applications, you are unlikely to experience any great improvement/disadvantage with using a 2.1 injector in a 1.9. As ever, I am prepared to learn differently...
