2002 belingo 2.0 hdi

Post by tonespeed1999 »

2002 belingo 2.0 hdi, wont start!.no problems to date.just got in it this morning and wont start.
have noticed that the glow plug light doesnt come on.
i have tested the glow plug relay and the double relay next to the battery as per auto data and they aye ok,done a diagnostic check and it shows a code of P1352, this isnt listed on auto data!
has any one got any ideas? i think that the ECU has a fault?

are you sure its definitely P1352 as this is Ignition Coil A Primary Circuit Malfunction ? this would be a bit strange on a diesel unless it is refering to the injector charge capacitors inside the ECU.
Is this the Bosch or Siemens system ? i think it is unlikely to be the ECU at fault.has any work been done to it recently ?

yeah if its a bosch system check the low pressure pump in the tank,if its a Siemens injection system then it doesent have a lift pump in the tank so dont think that it is not operating if you have this system.

So, if it is the Siemens system, as Wheeler points out, they do without the in-tank lift pump, so you don't need to go there.
Wouldn't bother about the glow plug light, I've never seem mine come on ever (2004 Blingo Hdi with Siemens system). Got to be a sensor or ECU fault surely.

im assuming that the engine is turning over on the starter fast enough ? does it even try to start ? have you tried priming the hand primer pump for the fuel ? all injectors/sensors/connectors plugged in ok ? could possibly be a faulty injector.
