hydraulic pump bolt

Post by davethewheel »

when replacing a bust abs sensor i noticed that the bolt that secures the pulley on the hydraulic pump is missing , it must have beem missing for some time as the threads are rusty , i need to find out what the thread size is as i may have to run a tap through first before i can get a bolt in.

Not supposed to be a bolt there.
I remember from my CX that these pumps (located on the gearbox like on BX diesels) had a 9mm fine pitch thread in the pulley axle. The same thread is found on the bolt that holds the pump (on CX & BX diesels).
