Re: Air pressure

To add to this, my SIII Landrover was used for trialling. It had 7.50 Mudpluggers fitted to non standard rims and had tubes fitted. I did a lot of wading / puddles at various depths. The deepest being the bow wave level with the top of the bonnet. I've never seen water in the area sandwiched between the rim and the tube. I've also never cut a tube open to see if there was moisture in there however. The tyres were inflated and deflated regularly to change the psi from road specs down to 20 when off road.
My money is there would have been moisture in the tube from the compressed air. When I was working in the weld shop at Toyota we had to drain the water catchers on the robots shiftly and that's with water catchers further back in the system.

Retrieved the wheel from the murky depths of the water tank, pressure still at 1 bar. Popped one side of the tyre off the rim and got my hand inside with a piece of paper towel. It was completely dry.

Fairly sure that anybody with water in the tyres has been injected via the airline

Have a good weekend, Now the wife has seen me messing with the mower, she wants the grass cutting !!

I had a tyre checked recently, and it had two punctures. One let the water in, while the other let it back out again!

Weirdly, it does. I dropped a small feather into the 'in' hole, it came out of the 'out' hole, went back into the 'in' hole, and is now looping.
