I didn't put up a diagram Kenny, but here is the suspension ECU diagram if you need it:

7715 is the suspension ECU
C001 is the Diagnostic Port
9009B is the wire I referred to on pin E2 for the diagnostic

So what actually do you need? I think I've identified the suspension ECU pin out to the OBD diagnostic port on the post with the diagram. What else do you require, perhaps I can assist further?

I've found what I was looking for and it is in the Sedre wiring diagrams.

Once logged in, locate your vehicle type etc in Domain,look up general points then sockets etc click on that field then diagnostic socket appears with the wring diagram diagnostic plugged number and a list of the 16 pins and what they do or not do .

I hope this makes sense.

I noticed in the wiring diagram that there is a splice between the Sus H I and ESP possible problem area.

I need to find any connectors has I've problems with them in the past (XantiaTD).

The weather would appear to be getting worse and won't be able to start checking until it is better.

Well on closer inspection of the wiring diagrams , there appears to be a crimp joint E909 where the wires change number 9009 to 9009B. There appears to be no other joint or connecting block elsewhere. I started looking for the crimping joint without success.

Does anyone know where it is ?

What current, resistance or voltage should I expected running through the diagnostic line ?

I can check this from inside the car whilst the weather is drizzling here.

Not sure this is going to help you Kenny - as the Diagnostic port pin 12 is manufacturer - specific reserved and in this case on the C5 X7 Citroen use it for the ABS / ESP and Suspension. It uses a 'K' line protocol and therefore is controlled by a master ECU, so don't expect it to be active all the time.

As this is a single wire, only one ECU can send a message at any time. The messages are sent as 0's and 1's (Binary), and so therefore these are transmitted as a pulsed voltage signal with 12v as a '0' and 0V as a '1'. The K-Line message can be sent in several parts, unlike a CAN message that is sent complete.

Ideally, you would use a CAN testing box to check these types of connections.
