Sounds like a plan.

Don't labour the engine though. See if it starts and move on if it is not immediately running sweet.

Can anyone tell me what the us stands for. To me none of the injectors look right numbers wise but I am hopeful if being corrected. No fault codes apart from the glow plug fault but we know that is a ghost code

Hi all, trying to get on top of a fueling issue. Car smokes white badly at mid range RPMS smells fuely at idle. Leak Off is between 20 to 25ml per 3 min interval. A couple of question.the numbers are approximately the same as the image above. I did note timing is retarded by -5 degrees I don't know how relevant it is.

What is the expected leak off on Delphi injectors on a dwb10 engine?

I couldn't get the injectors to code so would this cause the white smoke?

How do I input the replacement injector codes which are the cross referenced type given the ECU won't accept it I think they have an extra digit?

Ok got them to code using Delphi scan tool. No white smoke far less fully I will take readings later to use as a base condition. Just abody work and a few bushings in the back to do now and then I can finally book her in for NCT 😃.

I sorted the glow plug light staying on needed a new relay. So now no preheat codes either and light goes off nearly as quick as it comes on.

Hi Roger, finally got to do a leak off 1,2,4 had approx 20ml after minutes and 3 had 25ml. The limit is apparently 37ml according to the fold version of Citroen doc back up I have. So I think we can safely say well within spec. I'm waiting on tyres for the rear and I need to give her a good clean and then it's going for NCT. So on the home stretch after what had felt like a lifetime of work.

Epic read, this one. Epic struggles too, you've definitely earned a sweet running reliable car so fingers crossed that's what you end up with.

Thanks ekjdm14 yeah a lot of work and a lot of money, more than the car is worth by a lot, but I know it's going to be good when I am finished.just finished painting the bumpers which got scratched when they were off the car and the rear wheel arch and passenger side rear door which had bit of damage. I made a mistake and bought too big of tyres for the front so I am waiting on a set from my mate. The 225/17/60's leave a gap of 10mm between the arch liner and it needs to be 20mm for the test so no good. apart from that and a wheel alignment she should be ready for the NCT now, hopefully she will pass 🤞
