*UPDATE*
Fitted a new blower which was suggested by GSF Car Parts according to dealer spec. This was a different model number to what was already fitted. Installed that and still the same, stuck on full speed. Tried both blowers with a new climate control panel and no difference either, so its likely looking to be a wiring issue between blower and panel. It's now booked in with an electrician in 4 weeks. At least I have coldish air coming through but at full speed so just a bit noisy.
Edited: Just took it out again and noticed that on other images of the same blower that the connection from the blower to the resistor on mine with the brown and white wire seems to be in the wrong socket. Is it possible the issue?
I can attach images to show but not sure how to do it on here. Figured it out i think
On other images that connector goes into the other side
mine
Do i have the wrong connector. Has it been altered just so the blower gets 12v?
To add to this it looks like the connector from the climate panel has had a bit filed down or broken off to fit.
Is there anyway I can find the correct connector

They are visible but the Imgur link doesn't work, perhaps you have saved them as private.
To upload images direct to the forum, read this guide and shout out if you need anything clarifying.
Note that many images from digital cameras and especially mobile phone cameras 'fall over' or turn upside down when enlarged. To prevent this, open in your image viewer, rotate 90°, or 180° for those upside down, and re-save them before uploading.
