I don't think that diagram is applicable to MK1 XMs, or early MK2s, the door jamb stickers were only introduced in about 1998 I think.

So your build date was 11th June 1993. I won't email the details that Chris has posted as there is only limited info for the early cars and only one page that can be seen more clearly by clicking the diagram.

Not the company's premises burning down, but the fireman's hosepipe saga. I live about ten miles from Rochdale and have dealt with Rochdale Motor Panels a few times in the past. A great company from bygone times...

I had this a couple of times buying cars in Brazil.

I just left a phone number and told them to call me when they came to their senses.

Both did.

The latest is that Dad has decided to wait for his son to return home from Russia so that I can talk about price with him. It's not a dead deal but it could be a slow one.

S1 vin is along the firewall edge that meets the bonnet seal.. Above right of the left side sphere mount.. (looking at the engine bay) or on the vin plate rivited to the front slam panel by the bonnet lock catchs..

Thailand your rhd. Parts can be sourced from here in the UK. Some people still have a large stock of parts. I for one. And still need to go through all mine and sort out keep to sell...
