No it's not normal. How many seconds does it take ?

You don't say what country you're in, but most of the forum members are in the UK, and we never see temperatures as low as -20 degrees, so probably nobody here has driven their V6 at -20 degrees.... Normally the gear position indicator LED flashing means that the gear lever is partially between two positions, so it might be a problem with the multifunction switch attached to the gear lever, although why it would only happen in cold I don't know.

Looking at the live input data from driver controls and sensors on a Lexia might give you some clues on what is happening.

Hello, today i wanted to check oil level in transmission, but i did not found dipstick. I downloaded some "training manual" for zf 4hp20 and it is mentioned there. On my care there is only hole in that place, but oil don't seam to go off from that hole. Then i did some google and some users mentioned that newest 4zf20 don't have the dipstick, but there was no proof. So is it possible to have 4hp20 build without dipstick?

Xantia V6's from RPO number 8206 onwards do not have a dipstick on the gearbox. On older revisions like mine which do have the dipstick its down below the air filter bracket, accessible when the air filter box is removed.

On later gearboxes without the dipstick the oil level is checked via a level plug near the driveshaft at a specific temperature which must be measured with a Lexia, and oil is topped up via the blue air breather plug. The process is relatively complicated compared to the dipstick models, if you really want to check the level and have access to a Lexia PM CitroJim for the information on how to measure/topup your version of the gearbox.

Fuse layout (under dashboard): I don't know about S2 cars, but certainly on S1 cars the fuse arrangement on 3 1995/6 estates that we've had were all different - to each other and to the layout shown in Autodata. It helps to know what the colours of the relays are: Green (multi-use), Black (multi-use), Grey (buzzer), Orange (timer/relay), Blue (wiper relay).
2012 Subaru Forester - capable but no magic carpet
2011 Grand C4 Picasso VTR+ 1.6HDi - not missed!
1995 Xantia Estate SX 1.9TD in Vert Vega "The Green Lady" - sadly missed
1998 Xantia 2.1 VXD Estate in Mauritius Blue - R.I.P. (terminal tin-worm)
