Hello Everyone,

im from Germany and bought a Peugeot 308 SW II (Phase II, Facelift 2017). The Previous owner seems to have not Updated the Bosch RCC EU (rcc-firmware) Wave 2
When i put my VIN Nummber on the Official App i got 1_076_16.1B116.4 as the newest update.
Also read that there are expired certificates, so i am not able to update my Car? Many of you posted you VIN encrypted. Is that the only option for me to update?

Who thought it was a good idea to let updates expire after couple years :D

The forum software automatically encrypts the VIN so it is unreadable by other than forum staff and a couple of members with access to the Stellantis database.
Unfortunately we currently have no such access due to changes within Stellantis, but those members who do may see your post and be able to assist.

I used the Mypeugeot App Put my VIN and IT Said to Download an Update to USB

I did, Put the USB Stick in my Car but got the Message Update Not needed.

Does it mean IT was already in the latest Update?
ITS a RCC Wave 2 Bosch EU.

We have this Car since Monday.

I feel Like the Options for Settings are very Low with this Car.
Is that normal? Or is IT because of my specific Model? I have Random Stufe Like WiFi but noch usecase for it :-D.
Feels Like 60% of thr Features are locked down.

Can i unlock somehow More Features through Hacks/workarounds?

Or would IT be Worth to Change my Infotainment system to Something else?

If NAV Units only unlock Navigation, ITS Not interesting for me, because Google Maps ist far better and i can User IT with Android Auto

I have a Ds7 with Nac Wave 3. I had version 31.09.46.62. I succeeded and activated semiparking. Today I updated to version 44.07.33.42. After updating the software and maps I found that semiparking no longer works. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Just insert a USB flash drive with the map update - for your NAC Wave 2 system, the latest European map is 28.0.0-r0.
When the car asks for your confirmation to install that map update, just cancel it. The system should start operating normally, without the "Software loading on demand" blue screen.
When will the new update for NAC Wave 2 be available? Is 28.0.0-r0 still the latest version available?

I'm in the exact same situation.

Hi all, bit of help would be great.

My C5 Aircross is on version 44.07.05.22, but if I try and update maps and firmware, maps seem to update but it restarts as requested and then seems to apply the same update again, I went through the cycle four times.

And if I remake the stick, just with firmware 44.07.33.32 it says "Version not compatible with hardware", which from what other people are saying is if you are jumping too big of a firmware version, but I didn't think I was.

I connected the car to my phone hotspot, same issue. Do I need a bridge firmware? Thanks a lot

@Hank_Marvin: The firmware version 44.07.33.32_NAC-r0, with 6 312 210 432 bytes, uploaded on 4 Feb 2026 and provided by Citroën Update (CU) is invalid.
Delete the "\SWL" folder on the USB flash drive created by the CU software and extract the .tar file on my page to it. You can keep the "\license" folder, it is still valid for that version.

@Plant38: I can't see the VINs posted here, but if you input that VIN in my page, it should identify the infotainment system and point you to the respective updates.

Hello, I've read this entire thread and I still can't successfully update the radio software using PeugeotUpdate or manually preparing a USB flash drive with the update files. Almost two weeks of trying hasn't yielded even a modicum of progress. I've tried manually generating license files, installing the software with maps, installing the maps themselves, and installing the software in various versions. Peugeot Update notifies me and downloads the PSA_ovip-int-firmware-version_44-07-33-32_NAC-r0_NAC_EUR_WAVE4 software along with the PSA_map-eur_17.0.0-r0-NAC_EUR_WAVE4 maps. I've tried running PeugeotUpdate with forced administrator privileges and as a standard user. During the installation using the manually prepared USB flash drive, I also changed the radio's date to match the dates specified in the certificates in the specific package. I've checked the USB port on the radio and in the glove compartment. The currently installed software version is 31.08.05.86_NAC-r0, and the maps CI-TT-PSA.P4CNS.U-MAP.EUR.NDS-6.3.0 (I assume these are factory maps), from the information found on the internet I read that the Wave3 version was updated to Wave4 using the 42.01.72.32_NAC-r0 and 42.03.33.42_NAC-r0 software, but I cannot generate a license file for them, and without the license file it also refuses to update when I share the internet connection via wifi or BT. I'm trying to generate a license for the Wave3 software using the following link:

Code: Select all

 https://majestic-web.mpsa.com/mjf00-web/rest/LicenseDownload?mediaVersion=001315031622734386&uin=0D010C1449D4EE6B7927
I'm receiving a message about the hardware being incompatible with the Wave3 version:

Code: Select all

"{"file":null,"filename":null,"uinWithoutLicense":[{"errorCode":31848,"errorLabel":"The software is incompatible for this UIN","uin":"0D010C1449D4EE6B7927","requestResult":"Software and UIN incompatible"}],"maxLimitLines":null,"errorMsg":"ERR"}"
Using the same link but using the MediaVersion for the Wave4 series, I can generate update license files without any problems. Unfortunately, after manually preparing the flash drive, I still get a hardware incompatibility error.

I've tested various flash drives to rule out memory corruption and differences between USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 versions, and capacities of 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 128GB.

I was also hopeful about the October posts about the possibility of updating to version 44.07.33.32_NAC-r0, but unfortunately, I was also unsuccessful.

I found the OSS files for the software version, but I can't get the radio to read them.

https://www.peugeot.com/en/oss-source-codes.html

The VIN decoder from https://sites.google.com/view/nac-rcc/system displays the information "NAC_EUR_WAVE4." I've already downloaded all the available files for the Wave3 and Wave4 versions from that site, but unfortunately, the update didn't work. Even when I try to provide the map update files for the Wave3 version, nothing happens.

Contacting Peugeot Polska customer service yielded no other solution than using PeugeotUpdate and manually creating a USB drive with the latest Wave4 software version. Can anyone help me with this hopeless situation?
