yes it will be. Only significant difference if it is OE spec. then it may well have a cat... That's no problem at all...beko1987 wrote: Replied to Dave's post, I presume a s2 1.9td will be the same exhaust wise?

Does your 1.9TD have the AS3 semi-electronic pump Beko? One with an ECU?
Yes, it does.. Get a Lexia on it and check the timing on the pump is properly following the timing value as set by the ECU. If the pump is not correctly timing itself against the ECU programmed value this may cause excessive smoke too. Timing errors are either down to a duff Needle Lift Sensor or low fuel transfer pressure due to a partially blocked fuel filter/tank strainer...beko1987 wrote:ErmCitroJim wrote:beko1987 wrote:

That'll be excellentbeko1987 wrote:I'll hope it passes the mot and come see you next year Jim!
Standard fat sort of vaguely figure of eight types... Totally standard... About three inches long by about one and a half wide with two 1/2 inch holes in them...beko1987 wrote:Stupid question, what do the exhaust rubbers look like? Are they all the same or are they special xantia type ones?
That puts a lot of faith in the Tester! :-Obeko1987 wrote: the tester told me that the 'handbrake doesnt work AT ALL' when he told me it failed. Odd I thought, it's rubbish, but it does work, you did test it on the front wheels didn't you?... nope!

All the ones I've ever seen are in that hideous dirty grey colour - looked like a lot of Japanese models of the time - the Bluebird I think for one and they were equally horrible!CitroJim wrote:Cor! You mean there’s still at least one of those hideous old Orions still extant? I'm amazed... Worst Ford ever and that's saying something... It had stiff competition![]()
