I think I've been in here in the past (though slight concern I am muddled up with the BPGA replacement on the Blue 308 SW!)Huskyxantia wrote: 01 Nov 2026, 16:48 Nice to see your 30amp locking nuts are tight, makes me wonder how one of mine became lose and why it had the wrong nut fitted
Wrong nut and loose one(s) too = sign of previous fiddling by someone less meticulous than you or I!

From the 308cc along with a white feather which is a sign for me from my late mother who said when she was alive she would leave little feathers around to let me know she's looking in on me , maybe time to charge my battery before winter sets in too

Ah, is this the mystery 30 Amp with the non-matching nut?
Nowt to worry about- as isn't connected to anything, it seems it is a spare. Same on my Grey 308 SW - also goes nowhere.
A mystery as to if some models use do make use of it! I'd have thought between my grey 308 (in posh Allure spec) and your CC (with electric roof to power) I can't think of any other high current options we'd have missing

I can't think of the reason as to why nothing is on it unless it was factory every car then ones that might of been more spec had more toys, I didn't do the 2008 at its all covered and ment i had to if I did discount the battery live , then I would of had to re do the clock and so on , I will check back through my photos though and if I have one I will pop it up , maybe I could use this spare for light bars to out shine these new ultra bright headlights lolMattBLancs wrote: 03 Nov 2026, 07:02 Ah, is this the mystery 30 Amp with the non-matching nut?

Had a thought: have you got heated seats in the CC ?
(Not got them here, would guess only with full leather)
I'd think they'll pull a good few amps (suprised if anywhere near 50 amps though!!)

Possible use could be as follows, tow bar loom
And ai says
Supplemental Electric Cabin / PTC Heater: Diesel engines like your 1.6 HDi warm up slowly in cold weather. Models built for colder climates include an electric element in the HVAC housing that draws heavy current straight from the battery block to deliver instant cabin heat before the engine coolant gets hot.
I never knew that.
