Very interesting regards the 206 . I'm just wondering if mine didn't like all that 40° heat back in the summer , then it was an air flow or air to hot being drawn in then giving false triggers .? It seems fine now .. strange isn't it.

Very odd, I can't wrap my head around why PSA "hid" the regen process. It's key to the engine keeping in a running condition, but a simple "regen in progress" light wasn't considered. Very odd.

Anyway, red 308 fault code reading is order of the day: come to a conclusion on new DPF or not is my intention for this after.

Clicking into Engine ECU, the three "not defined" fault then thankfully are a bit more informative!

All are Particulate Filter related:
P2463 00 detected overloaded
P246C 00 detected clogged
P24A4 00 detected blocked

Sounds like three varieties of the same thing! :)

Keep in mind, this particulate filter was sopping wet, so I'm not surprised it logged as blocked. I'm hoping a week worth of motorway trips into the office has dried it out thoroughly now.

Fault descriptions added in a bit

BSI fault reading has three
B160681 battery charge status unit configuration fault
B182584 oil level information fault level too low
U1f00 fault event not stored in the faults log

Oil level was a little low following the oil change then topped up. Level check today= 3/4 full.

Faults erased but "battery charge status" and "fault event not stored" both come back:

Fingers crosses to stay that way for you husky!

Totted up: it's about 200 miles of motorway it's done this week, so hopefully well dried out

Still feel I've lots to learn my way around Diagbox, so sticking with that for the moment. My "ToughBook" with Diagbox also works with the USB Borescope (which otherwise would be scrap / obsolete! Absolutely will not run on Windows 10 or later, but it's ok on ToughBook's Windows 7)

In fact I've just realised I missed the opportunity to do "Before and After" DPF Borescope images to compare, D'oh!

Red 308 has been for a quick test run and didn't give "Engine Fault repair needed". Off to the office tomorrow, so hopefully stays happy on that run.

Gosh, feels VERY different back at full power after a week of limp mode (max rpm 2100, very very much reduced output even at that rev "limit")

As I recall using my scope during a cluster of risk warnings , the camera revealed it was a clean canister ,honeycomb block was clear too. Good to hear the power is back .
