This picture is of my day, proving that battery power radios are a must have. Because we are in a power outage and have been since 0430hrs!!!!

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Little update, we've got power back on. It turns out a neutral cable failed which fried everyone's electrics. So far we have a destroyed PC tower, WiFi extender, TV, Lamp and Alexa, so far.... But we got off lightly, apparently someones fuse board melted on the wall!!!! I will say though, well done to UK Power Networks for keeping us informed about what is happening, what provisions they put in place for us and also the workmen they sent to repair the issue. The workmen were nothing but polite and courteous throughout and answered any questions I had with a smile. Having worked in construction for 25yrs I know how hard it can be to deal with residential tenants. These guys were spot on. And no, I'm not affiliated with them in anyway.

Oh gosh! Poor you Ryan
A Neutral fault like that is pretty fatal to lots of electrical things...
I have deep traumatic memories of that happening in my workplace many years ago and the resulting fallout I had to deal with.

Who says you can't train a cat! This is Twinkle, she's 8mths old and has been taught not to leave the building as she's not getting her jabs till Friday. no such thing as a bad pet, just bad owners.

I often think cats are one of the most intelligent and cunning animals on the planet with a personality to go with it; I have a lot of admiration for them...
You're right about bad owners Ryan; don't get me started about some dog owners I regularly have the displeasure of seeing whilst out on my perambulations...

Had a few days away at friends in Suffolk with a couple of other Commer fans. As it happened they were hosting a charity tractor run with small car show which we were proud to take part in.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
More a lack of photo.
Spotted a squirrel climbing a tree outside. First camera didn't work (flat battery). Same with the second camera.
It was too fast for me with the phone camera.
Had to take my glasses off for the second camera, an SLR with the viewfinder set to my eyesight without glasses. Dropped the glasses on my chair seat.
Sat in the chair and flattened my glasses.
Altogether a very productive afternoon.

Yes, luckily, a few fraught minutes with a multi tool and fixed. Fortunately, as the arm hinge snapped of another pair last week. Beyond repair for those.
