Diagbox Advice Please

Hi 2018 Ds7 Hdi 68k mikes, in 2025 I changed the Adblue tank, a year to the day almost on hot day I got Adblue warning back and countdown clock

Technician came to me and plugged in software and said DPF likely cracked - he fou d soot upstream in tail pipe exhaust.

I just had the DPF changed, I went for a Euro 6 which meet original spec and not a cheap low end unit

Car came back fine, drove for 6 days - only short journey less than 20 miles total) and now have engine fault error but no Adblue warning and no count down clock.

I bought myself a good quality odb2 interface and using diagbox v9, plugged it in this morning and I see this:



Does it reveal anything? Below this item it says Urea Ecu communication error and it is greyed out.

The garage said they cleaned the Adblue injector and test drive the car and initially it came back without any faults.

Any ideas?

As a first move I'd suggest a BSI reset following the procedure in the link below and then do another global scan and see what comes up.

Have you used your Diagbox setup on the C4 Picasso before this? Have you used it on any other vehicles?

What version of Diagbox software are you using?

It is the first time I have used it, I'm running via a virtual machine, not natively. It's a Ds7 though not a Citroën.

I know very little about the later Diagbox software versions but I do see on your photo it says "ECU not recognised : select" Does it not then give you a list of different ECUs for you to choose from? I run Diagbox 7.57 which has a similar problem with the engine ECU on my 2015 308 and I have to choose the correct one from a list. I can then go inside the ECU to do whatever's necessary. Do you have that option?

Also the later versions have a lot of the functionality removed from standalone use and it requires connection to the servers in France to work properly. This obviously isn't possible for amateur use and maybe you've come up against this problem.
