DS3 1.6 HDI - Maintenance Schedule?

My DS3 1.6 HDI 92HP end 2015 service light came on after the mileage counter finished. That's fine. My question is, according to the seller, the car had its 15,000km service. The internet says the maintenance intervals are 25,000km or 1 year. The seller said the DS3 will always have the light come on after 1 year because the car assumes it's every year. Is this true?

Btw, the VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Also, on Citroen putting that VIN shows that is a DV6FD FAP... however, my car is the 92HP... is that correct or the car could have the engine changed to DV6TED ??

The service schedule is based on mileage OR one year, if you don't reach the recommended mileage. This is my service schedule and it clearly says "The service interval depends on time and mileage. The service is due when the first of the two terms is reached".

As regards 25,000km or15,000km my best guess is that these are the normal conditions and arduous conditions mileages. These roughly correspond to 16,000 miles and 10,000 miles on my schedule.

Thank you, so the car just did 10000km so that's why the light is on, cause already did one year since last service.

About the oil, now im confuse about what engine the car is (DV6FD FAP or DV6TED) but the oil as to be the PSA B71 2312 C2 or C1? Let's belive the car is the DV6FD

It's 99CV, 73KW. So is DV6FD. The difference on C2 and C1 is?

PSA B71 2312 0W/30 will get you the right oil regardless of those other specifications.

Our 1.6 hdi Cactus uses that oil spec so I use Total Ineo First 0w30 which meets it. I change it every 12 months in which time it does about 8k miles.
