Id say tell the neighbours your planning on doing it as it can be noisy
Forced regen on a cold car is a poor idea - very extreme temperature swings can cause all kinds of issues. I stupidly did it once on the C8 and I got away with it but if at all possible will avoid it in future. Much better if there was a method (and Im sure that one exists) to trick the car into bringing forward a regen whilst you are already close enough to fulfilling all of the triggering conditions - see above for a longer story.

Just out of curiosity on the two regens over the weekend on the long drive I noticed that the DPF ran at about 600-650C up from its usual operating temp of 280-350C. For me a regen request is the one feature of the FAP APP that would complete it and address a real weakness in many diesel cars.

Ive read somewhere that if the dpf hasn't regened properly a few times it can get clogged with diesel then it will heat even higher to try burn it all off .
Not literally full up with diesel but enough to cause blockages , also they have the 100k mileage life which really isn't gospel I belive its how the car is driven amd looked after which could out way the 100k mark but , the cars computer does what its told by the program amd whom programs it
Husky. :? Thinking outside of the box is better than sitting in a dark one.
