Ongoing uneven tire wear — suspect upper control arm bushing

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and hope I'm posting this correctly.

I have an ongoing issue with uneven wear on one of my front tires, and I believe the cause is the rubber bushing on the upper control arm. I've had trouble identifying the exact part and will try to upload a photo of it if possible.

A bit of background on what I've already done:

I first replaced the control arms,
then replaced the outer CV joints,
...and it was only after all of that that my mechanic pointed out that the rubber bushings on the upper control arm were completely shot. The rubber at the bottom of the bushing appears to be worn out entirely. As a result, the wheel/tire moves in all directions when I drive, except where I'm actually steering — the car feels loose and unpredictable on the road.

My question is: Is the rubber bushing something that can be replaced on its own, rather than needing to replace the whole upper control arm again? If so, I'd really appreciate any help identifying the exact part I need.

Any details of the car other than in your My Cars list which suggest a 2010 C5 diesel ? Things such as engine size, estate or saloon, hydractive or standard suspension (a close look at the top photo looks as if coil springs) might be relevant. Have you tried autodoc or other suppliers for bushes ?

I haven't approached any suppliers yet, because I'm still trying to work out exactly which bushes I need to replace. The part I'm unsure about is the larger component the bushes sit in — I'm wondering if that's properly called the upper control arm, or whether it goes by a different name. I've struggled to find a diagram that lets me positively identify the part.

For reference, my car is a 2.0-litre diesel Saloon with the standard suspension.

Thanks for the link to the diagram, Alasdair. It's helpful, but there's one part it doesn't address. I'm hoping to replace only the rubber bushing where the lower control arm connects to the upper control arm — the diagram doesn't show it as a separate part. The bushing I'm referring to is at the bottom of the smaller picture I uploaded above. Can anyone confirm whether it's possible to replace just this bushing on its own?

Hello Sloppysod I wish it was That looks like the two that are at the top numbered 13 on the diagram. What I'm looking for is the one at the bottom of the same port numbered B

Well looking at the diagram, Alastair posted, I think you are out of luck, the bush at the bottom of that part (Front Swivel Assembly) is only available with the bush already fitted.

Not what I wanted to hear but thank you. Does this mean that it is going to have to be a genuine Citroen Port. Is there likely to be an aftermarket part available.
