C4 B7 Window Regulator

Well just as i was getting along with this car it decides to s**t on me again!

Bloody typical had to be during a torrential rain storm went to close passenger front window twang wire snapped and down it slid.

Could not get the bloody window to move had to take the door trim off and the horrible foam insulation backing sure as fate crusty broken wire dangling, why oh wh6y cant they just use stainless wire?

After lot of swearing and mopping up jammed it up with bit of plastic pipe cut to size.

Replacement regulator ordered, any tips on how to do this?
