Hi
I’m having an issue with a 2024 Citroen relay van. It’s a 2.2 DW12RUD (4HB).
Basically the adblue system has decided to stop working. Currently display 612 miles left and flashes up check adblue system.
I’ve scanned it with my launch machine and the only thing that is coming up is
p3057
U010E
U029D
U0074
Screen shot attached
I’ve checked all the fuses in the drivers side (rhd) of the cabin, I’ve also checked fuses in the engine bay (near side) as I suspected all them tighter might suggest the module is down. I designated the adblue pump and rechecked, no difference and then tried the downstream nox sensor and still no change.
So my guess is the emissions module has either given up, or there’s something else causing the issue.
Does anybody have any suggestion? It’s under warranty, but they can’t get me in for several weeks for some reason.
Cheers

In correcting the rotation of your image I think I may have clipped the right side. Sorry about that. If I am right can you repost the picture after opening it and saving it in the correct orientation in a program like Paint.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Try deleting the faults and then see what comes back. You can reset the de nox system which will restore put the light out and avoid the countdown - till it faults again. I would guess at a broken wire somewhere pulling the network down.

The DTCs don't mention whether the Adblue needs refilling but have you checked the level with a dipstick - assuming the filling point isn't too remote from the tank.

The image should show “permanent faults”mickthemaverick wrote: Yesterday, 13:49 In correcting the rotation of your image I think I may have clipped the right side. Sorry about that. That was the first thing I did. Says it’s cleared but the fault is still there and the countdown timer is still the sameRichardW wrote: Yesterday, 13:56 Try deleting the faults and then see what comes back. The van was only refilled about a week ago. And was showing as 3/4 full. I did top up thinking it could be reading wrong. It only took about 2/3 litres to start flowing out.Paul-R wrote: Yesterday, 14:14 The DTCs don't mention whether the Adblue needs refilling but have you checked the level with a dipstick - assuming the filling point isn't too remote from the tank.

I think all you did was to clear the DTC. You need to go into the engine ECU and look for a section called Pack Repair or similar. Then look for réinitialisé nox, or similar. That will restart the mileage countdown.Nelly1712 wrote: Yesterday, 14:46 That was the first thing I did. Says it’s cleared but the fault is still there and the countdown timer is still the same

With your van being only 2 years old I would have thought it is still under warranty and if so you should take it to your Citroen dealer to be fixed.

Thanks, I did state in my first post that the wait time is several weeks, so trying to see if I can resolve for free sooner.PaulC5 wrote: Yesterday, 22:35 With your van being only 2 years old I would have thought it is still under warranty and if so you should take it to your Citroen dealer to be fixed.

If it needs a new adblue tank or just an injector then it can be expensive. A search on all the fault codes suggests faults including a communication fault or water in the NOx sensor - if like our Cactus the sensor electrics are under the car and can be prone to water damage. Our Cactus needed a new one at under 3 years old and another a few months ago.
