The fluid is horrible , the pouch set up is quick disconnect the old one them connect the new then diagnostic session to reset the level, 10 min job if l
All goes well, the refill of the tank with fluid I used a battery oil pump last year that worked a treat.

Yes I remember you'd said about a pump for this task - for me the mess was disconnecting and reconnecting the hose connections, that's where I came in contact with the fluid.

The filling kit has a lid with a hose tail, last time I did this job I learnt the hard way that it also has a small breather hole (allowing air into the bottle (as the fluid leaves) - though if you try and encourage the fluid out (i.e. give the bottle a little squeeze) you very quickly revert the "air in" port to a "fluid out" port!! Do not recommend

Hmmm, completely silent red 308 this morning - no radio, sat Nav or parking sensor noises at all!?!

Odd , any idea whats caused it ?

I think it was working yesterday, so the only thing that could have upset it is the Diagbox session yesterday afternoon.

I had that happen on my Picasso Matt... It magically fixed itself when I threatened it with a Diagbox session

Many Diagbox threats have been made, it's not scared into action by that unfortunately!

Will get it plugged in over the weekend hopefully

I Finally popped my 308 on the maxicom yesterday
Soot content apparently 1% ... so all them regens may of been heat wave related.

My audio system is still not working properly, but I can usually get it to work at least for receiving a Bluetooth signal so that I can stream from my phone etc.

But twice now, it has stopped working completely and eventually the first time, it started to work again, but I don’t know what I did to make it work. However, I’m fairly confident that at least the more recent time it stopped working was immediately after I had been using DiagBox because, once again, my beloved 307 threw up an engine warning light, and I needed to find out what the problem was this time.

This engine light problem was a week ago, but I didn’t get to DiagBox until Thursday. Today is Monday, and my audio system is still on the blink. I can usually fool the audio system into working again by inserting a CD which turns on the whole system and automatically selects CD as the source. But both times that the system has stopped working after what I suspect is a DiagBox session, my foolproof method is no longer foolproof. But like I said, I don’t know what I did last time to get it working again.

That's odd!

From memory, not on a 307 but on the cars I've plugged in, you can interrogate the radio itself and it can log faults - sure I've seen faults about the (amplified) aerial, the MFD screen, steering wheel controls, parking sensor ECU, etc all raised by the radio itself. There's also Actuator Tests (think you can have it produce a sound on each speaker individually) so a play with that might be worthwhile too.

I'm putting my fault down as "just a glitch" and effectively fixed by IT repair option 1

Will take the "new" (red) 308 wiper motor out at some point as I'd say it's noticeably slower than it's predecessor - so will give it some lubrication
