I still haven't resolved the issue with the RT6 2.8 radio in my 2014 Citroën C5. The problem was that the radio kept shutting down and restarting every minute, though occasionally it would run for longer periods. Paul helped me with software version 2.86; I installed it onto a new 32 GB SanDisk SD card. I performed the installation using a CD, as I couldn't get it to work with a USB drive. After the installation finished, the Peugeot logo appeared, but the steering wheel controls didn't work, and the radio kept restarting every minute. I removed the SD card and copied the settings from the old card—specifically the files in `user_data` – `user_profile` – `user.config.dat` (and others)—over to the new one. I put it back in the radio, and now everything works except the Bluetooth connection; however, the connection likely can't be established anyway because the radio shuts down and restarts every 30 seconds. I suspect the fault might actually be with the hardware rather than the SD card. I’ve attached a screenshot of the `user.config.dat` settings. I read that Bluetooth could be the issue, so I used the DATEXPLORER program to change the BT setting in the config file from 1 to 0, but that didn't help. I don't have the navigation maps yet. Perhaps someone has experience with this kind of problem?
