Re: How to Replace the Internal MicroSD Card - RT6
Hi Helder, do you still have all the software and could share? Im looking for older version up to RNEG 2.84 I have updated mine to 2.86 and my cluster cant see unit. I also seen you had problems updating, so make it sure your card size is not bigger as original one, however if its biger you can re format and and allocate size which your unit can support, as I had this problem with my RT6 unit. However my unit as unit working fine its just on the cluster my radio says always off and im getting fault U1F37 87 via thinkdiag....

Who is this Helder? It's not a user name here.

How curious. I would have thought that searching in members for Helder would have found that name but apparently not.

Came up both in the memberlist and a search of members.
I used CTRL+F to find it though.

Re: How to Replace the Internal MicroSD Card - RT6
Hello,
My car 3008 2014 Allure has;
1) Satnav screen gone black
2) gone km/h
3) no sensors/reverse camera
4) CD keeps rebooting every circa 10 secs
From reading this guide I will order the bits needed to replace to microSD card. However, I’m wondering as the SD card has completely given up if its too late to do the Mirascripts to pull the user data?
I also can not check which version of firmware I have, so unsure if I do the latest update V2.86/V2.86b?? it will mean I will have to get the dealership to reload the relevant data to enable use of all functions.
I have no problem getting them to do this only that from speaking to them they have never dealt with this issue before and are just booking me in for a diagnostics.
I also asked them if they can sell me the CD with firmware on it but they didn’t think they could and not sure if even stock this.. Gave them the part number 9691894880
Any extra guidance on this would be much appreciated

I can't see how you could operate MicroScript without a working screen.iPlayForKeepsNZ wrote: 05 Aug 2026, 21:13However, I’m wondering as the SD card has completely given up if its too late to do the Mirascripts to pull the user data?

Yes, a visit to a dealer will probably be needed.

Re: How to Replace the Internal MicroSD Card - RT6
ok thank you for confirmation
I have heard back from them and they can sell the CD etc
Is it worth me trying it via USB before as I have seen some people mention they've had issues with CD if its in a boot loop? does anyone have the firmware can send me please
or do I just take it to dealer as is and get them to do the whole lot - change SD card etc
My concern with that is the people I've spoken to there (been working 10+ years) have never heard or dealt with this issue, I explained the info on here and they wont comment on that - just saying will have to come for diagnostics and will work from that - cant give any pricing etc until done that
They also can't get me in until start of Sept so its long

Re: How to Replace the Internal MicroSD Card - RT6
Personally I think that using a USB stick is better as the CD reading can be erratic if you're having problems, But, if you do get a CD, then by all means try that first. I'd extract the contents to a computer and put them on a USB drive first though, just in case.

Re: How to Replace the Internal MicroSD Card - RT6
Hi All,
I have a 2013 Peugeot 3008 Allure Hybrid. A couple of weeks ago I started getting a "Check in progress" message on the screen followed by an instruction to "Insert Navigation CD". This now happens every time I use the car. Having found loads of information on this, the main suggested fault is a faulty SD card. The software version I have is 2.75
Initially I tried cloning the card on my Mac, however the cloning would always come up with an error. Still I learnt a lot about cloning
.
Next I tried replacing the card (16GB Fat32 all hidden files removed). I managed to get the 2.77 version from Paul R (Many thanks) and today have tried putting it on USB sticks (Just comes up with Checking CRC Media and remains like that for 40 mins, so I interrupted and started again); and burning it to CD-Rs (Both of which went into the car CD player and were ejected about three minutes later with nothing on the screen).
Im probably doing something wrong or there is something more serious going on. I have to say I haven't used my Mac for this kind of thing before.
I have removed hidden files from the USB sticks. I have just checked the CD player and its playing my old CDs OK (although finding them took me a while
)
Following an earlier suggestion of removing the set up files onto a usb stick, I seem to have managed to do that.
Thanks in advance for any inputs.

Re: How to Replace the Internal MicroSD Card - RT6
You using your Mac worries me. Macs are noted for dumping a stupid amount of hidden files and folders onto removable drives. You say you have removed hidden files (how?) but have they really been removed and then immediately put back?

Re: How to Replace the Internal MicroSD Card - RT6
Thanks Paul,
Thanks for the reply, and that's a very good point.
I am using a the "command along with the shift and fullstop" buttons which supposedly shows up all hidden files. Then you can use the "command plus delete" buttons to remove these files. Could I say I was 100% confident? Well as its something Ive never done before - no.
Most people seem to have done these transfers using windows, so I will try and gain access to a windows PC and try that route. It may take a few days but will let you know how it goes.
Thanks again.
