Peugeot 308 1.6HDI 2013

Unread post by Danilov »

Hi all,
I recently did some work on driveshaft so needed to drain gearbox oil. Refilling it through breeder valve at top of the box. Long story short I took battery out for 2 days. After connecting it noticed that my folding mirrors stopped folding when locking the car. Didn’t bother me much at the time but then noticed that even when cold start in the morning my fan started and if I shut the engine still cold, fan continues to run. Pulled my ThinkDiag and there you go - lost communication with driver and passenger side door modules and no signal from ambient temp sensor. What I’ve done so far. Reset BSI following procedure explained in this forum a few times, no luck. Ambient sensor is in driver side mirror, took sensor out and was measuring 1.2k out of circuit and responding to temp changes( NTC type) supply to it 5v when out, when connected about ~1.1v, 1.2V. Here is picture of the scan faults after BSI reset

… so need to find some diagrams to see how BSI communicate with door modules and connection to temp sensor. Any advise appreciated. Thanks

Before doing any of that, try a BSI reset first.

If my memory serves me correct there is a procedure to be for removing battery and refitting if battery. I will have to scan and copy to a pdf then post it here tomorrow.
