Seeking GSA oil pan gasket

Unread post by bjmckenz »

(I'm in the States)

I may need to pull the pan off my GSA engine and I'd like to be ready with a new gasket if needed. I have no signs of leaks, so this might be overkill.

Does anyone supply them? Or is it all NOS?

Cheers,

Bruce

Hi Bruce and :welc:

With your pretty rare use of the engine in your Trihawk it will be difficult but you could try contacting these people: https://shop.citroenclassics.co.uk/citr ... s-24-c.asp Good luck :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Welcome along!

I don't think this engine has a removable oil pan (sump over here!) - as it's a boxer engine it uses a split casing design. If you want to get in there, you need to fully dismantle the engine and then split the casing. What's up with it that you think you might need to go in?

Congratulations! But if oil does appear beneath the car, look at the oil drain tubes from the heads, and the rocker covers.
