Alarm Sounds when Locking Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Exclusiv BlueHDi

I have an issue where the alarm sounds when I lock my Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Exclusiv BlueHDi.

If I unlock the vehicle with the alarm sounding, it stops and relocks itself a few minutes later.

The issue started when the battery went flat.

I have tried re-pairing the key by following the procedure and passing the key out of the window, etc. but without success.

Any ideas.

Looking at other posts here, it seems I might need a replacement siren module (part 9677756080).

Does that seem correct?

Do I need to recode anything, or is it simply plug and play?

I've seen this reported quite a few times after a battery change - but never seen an actual resolution - ideally it needs to go on a diag computer to see what is triggering the alarm. Normally there is a delay period before it arms, so not sure why this changes after a battery change.

It sounds immediately I lock the car, but stops when I unlock it. The car relpcks itself a few moments later and the alarm doesn't sound.

The dealer is charging over £120 just to diagnose the fault.

I have been advised that it TSB D6AW0157Q0 applies - £150 for the dealer to do a BSI update

I can't find the TSB online - is this something that members here have access to?

If it needs a BSI update then I suspect you will need the dealer to do it.
