Airbag module question

I had B0100 on my ecu, i found a clean one matching numbers but someone said i need to just code / proxy align it

What they mean?

It may be coded to the car, so the car's details need to written to the ECU. Proxi alignment is a Fiat thing which applies to Relay / Boxer vans. Don't know if you can do the airbag with a std scan tool.

Later versions will only do coding with a connection / sub to the Stellantis server.

What version of Diagbox software are you running?
What vehicle and year is this about?

What are you working on?

It may just work; or you may still have air bag light and / or other warning lights for other ECUs getting upset that the airbag is not sending the right data. Unlikely it will cause any permanent damage.
