Re: RNEG Firmware or Software
Hi, is anyone able to share an ISO other then version 2.86? I figured that updating the system would be a good first step to repairing the map database ultimately. Thanks.

I have 2.31, 2.71, 2.77, 2.80 and 2.85 as ISOs. I also have 2.21 and 2.37 as software for a USB stick.
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Re: RNEG Firmware or Software
Can the firmware be downgraded do you know Paul? If so, I am half tempted to downgrade the 3008 back down to 2.80 for her to see if that remedies the BT ECHO, Echo, echo, ech, ec, e....Paul-R wrote: 25 Jan 2026, 12:44 I have 2.31, 2.71, 2.77, 2.80 and 2.85 as ISOs. It's not possible to roll back firmware versions as far as I am aware.

There's only one way to find out...
I'll give it a try sometime!

You can get rid of the BT echo by paying a dealer to download the configuration file from the Stellantis servers and apply it to the car. It's also possible using Mirascripts, I believe, although I don't know the exact process.

Harita güncelleyeceğim. Yazılım yükseltmeme gerek var mı yükseltsem ses sorunu yaşarmıyım.
I'm going to update the map. Do I need to upgrade the software? If I do, will I experience sound issues?

Only update 2.77 or 2.80 is the current best advice.sametcakal wrote: 08 Feb 2026, 14:42 Harita güncelleyeceğim. Yazılım yükseltmeme gerek var mı yükseltsem ses sorunu yaşarmıyım.

Check your PM.
I'm a little concerned at how many versions you've asked for. Be aware of the problems of updating too far. See the chart here viewtopic.php?p=856186#p856186 This suggests that if you update from 2.21 to ANYTHING you will have to reinstate the previous configuration. I strongly recommend that you use Mirascripts to download your configuration BEFORE any updating.

Re: RNEG Firmware or Software
Hi Paul, first of all, thank you so much! The reason I asked for so many versions is because I couldn’t find anything online besides 2.86, and I knew updating directly would be a big risk.
I own a 2013 508 RXH Hybrid4 with the 2.21 RNEG system, and I have an issue where the Bluetooth disconnects randomly without any consistent pattern.
Thank you for all your advice! I definitely won’t update anything without fully understanding the information first. I just want to fix the Bluetooth problem with the right update.
Thank you again!

Re: RNEG Firmware or Software
Hi again, Paul,
First of all, thank you once again for your support.
I came across this post: viewtopic.php?p=866260#p866260, and the user “rares998” posted a comment on April 23rd, 2026, saying that someone from his country repaired, updated, and calibrated his unit to the latest firmware.
I wanted to let you know that I am from the same country as he is (Romania), and I actually knew the guy, vaguely, but I was aware of his work and how good he is. That comment convinced me to contact him and ask for help instead of risking damaging the unit myself. He was very kind and asked me to send him my unit. I did, and it came back yesterday. Everything is working perfectly: it’s on 2.86B, he replaced my 8GB SD card with a new 16GB one, latest maps, alert zones, Bluetooth no longer disconnects, GPS works flawlessly, no issues with parking sensor sounds, and no echo during calls.
His name is Gabriel, from the city of Deva. If you come across some random Romanian who needs help, just let me know. We can help him by sending him to this guy. He is very kind and experienced.
I just wanted to let you know and thank you for your support.
Have a great day!
