Citroen C5 2010 seat replacement, wiring diagram needed

Unread post by MikiHN »

Hello everyone.
I am new here, I live in Montenegro. I own a couple of Citroen and Peugeot vehicles.
Need help from someone who has a wiring diagram from the BSI to the seat-for Citroen C5 from 2009.
I want to replace ordinary seats with electric seats. Diagnostics activated everything, but probably some power cable is missing.
Thanks in advance for your help

In order to find the correct diagram we need to know the engine, gearbox and RPO number from the tyre sticker on the door pillar. :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

This is the index for the diagrams which should enable you to interpret them correctly:

I was kindly provided these recently by someone on here, which I think are what you're looking for.
These are the oem wiring diagrams, however there are mistakes on them!

On the passenger seat diagram, the circuit is NOT fed from fuse G37 as shown, but rather from fuse G39.

On the drivers seat diagram, the circuit is NOT fed from fuse G37 as shown, but rather from fuse G38.

Some of the components are mis-numbered - the component numbers give an item as 'passenger' when they are on the 'driver' diagram (and vice versa) but you can work around that through common sense.

The drivers side drawing does not show the seat memory switch for some reason (though it does show the memory ECU :dunno:

Need help about this.. 😁. I activated the function for the electric seats through diagnostics, brought one cable that was missing in the compartment near the driver's seat (cable from BSI to the seat). But the seats still do not work. Later I saw that I did not have a fuse for the seats. But in the place where the fuse should be there is only one foot for the fuse (+) and there is no other one at all. So the fuse cannot be inserted. Does anybody know where other cable go? Because without other,I can’t install fuse..

I would assume that this wire was left out of the loom on your car, because it wasn't originally fitted with the seats.

If the terminal that you do have in the fuse holder is +12v (check with a multimeter) then you are missing the side that runs from the fuse to the seats and will need to make that up/install it yourself.

This one has 12v, I already checked it with a multimeter.

I'm still searching for a wiring diagram for the doors and electric seats for a 2009 VTR+ and also for Exclusive. I have. VTR+ and a pair of excellent leather seats from an Exclusive with ECU underneath. Not worried about memory function, massage, heating, etc, but want to see what might be needed to make the seat motors work on the seat switches, without compromising safety such as air bags. Has anyone successfully retrofitted the posh seats into a lower spec model or is it an impossible task? I don't think it's possible to change the leather seat upholstery to the original seats as the frames look very different.
