Beats me why they don't secure undertrays with cable ties from the word go Husky ;)

It's now they always end up

Here's hoping that's the cause...

So true , mine was the pebble sitting between lower arm and stablizer bar, how ever since that I make sure to look under the car once a month , and cable ties are great im just wondering when they will make them mot fails . We all know what mot stands for. Making owners tremble....or as my old dad use to say about where he used to take his car

2 things I do on a car new to me, copper grease the wheel hubs so the alloys do not rust on and lithium grease the undertray bolts and speed clips before they rust up. Both save a lot of agro later and damaging the undertrays.

My wife usually manages to find ‘my safe place’ and she then moves the said item to her safe place. But when I need the item, she doesn’t remember taking it, so she has no idea where she might have put it!

Injector number 2 replaced today plus full diagnostic before and after . The first scan confirmed number 2 range was way higher then the other 3 injectors.

So out it came with no problem at all. I hovered out the muck in the injector hole then popped the reconditioned injector in everything put back too air pipes and air filter box , popped the code in on the diagnostic , this then gave me the process on re learning the injector by driving the car steady upto 2600 rpm then foot off the gas let the car drop down to 1600 rpm at its own doing which for good measure I did this 5 times, I did notice the rattle on acceleration was gone , how ever I stopped for some diesel on my way home restarting the car it stalled , which it does the following, engine will fire up , then it stalls and rattles at the same time , engine now not running . So turning the key a 2nd time car fires up and runs , drives perfect , power is there under the foot no issues all is good. No injector rattle on acceleration either, ive now got the next job sometime Tomorrow which is to swap the old fuel filter for the new bosh one waiting to be fitted , I found online somewhere another car with same issue the owner found it was leak back cause by the filters tear drop gasket going flat due to age and air being drawn in, fingers crossed this will cure this on my car , mentions of timming being out can cause this but I think not as this happens now amd again not all the time.

Update will follow.

The driving style has changed as in when you get used to something when you accelerate, now its , foot down ... oh no rattle ... as before foot down rattle ease of a bit foot back on . So the new foot down and oh no rattle feels a bit more weird then before , if you understand my explanation
