ABS fault came up, mid way through scanning (but hasn't done so in use) so had a look in there too.
I see my ABS (and other warning lights) illuminate when Diagbox is running through its global check Matt. That's normal. If your radio is off then it'll briefly turn on during the global check. A bit spooky!

Your cars certainly work hard!

Yes, I've got used to the radio suddenly springing into life. Quite a surprise the first time! :-D

I'm pretty sure the Blue 308 doesn't come up with an ABS fault, memory rusty but don't think the C5 did - but good to know that's normal for some when scanned.

Oh yes, anything roadworthy has to earn its keep here! :-D

Ah yes, the blue 308 does odd things like that too!
(Driving along, radio off. Suddenly bursts into life for a traffic announcement, but when the traffic report is finished, radio doesn't go off again - it goes back to whatever was selected last time radio was on. As though assumed I'd always want the radio on)

Grey 308 earning it's keep, second trailer job from yesterday (3 sheets of plasterboard, 1 sheet of 50mm polystyrene, 2 lengths of 4.8m 22x100 (4"x1"))

And it repaid us by a subtle scraping noise!

Hmm, so there's 249 and 268mm diameter rear brake disk options. What I wouldn't have guessed is what differentiates between the two sizes!

Bigger disk for the glass roof. I guess it's more weight, but surprised if it makes that much difference as to need bigger brakes! :o

Car Parts 4 Less, order to pick up (from Euro Car Parts branch) should be ready on Wednesday morning, so likely grab it on the way back from the office.

Just cheap pads, I'd pick decent quality for the front but less picky for the rears. £18.69 with the current "PAYDAY24" discount code.

When doing my 207 rear drums the ebay shop got the size wrong , I did say to them my size was bigger as it was on a year change to what the body was if that makes sense, when they arrived they were way to small. Ones they sent were for 1 1 petrol, mine are same as 1.4 diesel , mines 1.6hdi. These size differences are very noticeable when layed side by side

It's surprising the variety - choice of three diameters for front disks on my Blue 308. None of the online parts suppliers I looked at narrowed it down when supplied with the reg number either! :)

Do you enjoy playing the lottery Matt? If so, then it seems the 308 is the car for you
