Unread post by scaniaomni »

Hi our peugeot partner 1.6 hdi 2016 is going in to limp mode constantly with the following codes stored.
1. p2541 Fuel pressure in low pressure circuit present. Voltage too low.
2. p008a Low pressure fuel circuit. Fuel pressure lower than the reference value.
3. p00ba Low pressure fuel circuit. Fuel pressure lower than the reference value.

Changed fuel filter assembly complete also changed low pressure pump in tank still the same still starts and drives fine but bleeps constantly engine fault then limp anyone advise where to go next?

Many thanks

2018 Expert van We had same issue. Replaced low pressure sensor and ok for a week or 2. Same fault occurred. Replaced in tank pump and ok for a week or 2. Same fault reappeared. Finally found bad wire to the low pressure sensor. When viewing live data on the scan tool you could see the pressure dropping out when you moved the wires.

Regrettably, Sime28100 hasn't been back to this site since the day he/she posted above, Sat Oct 08.

In fact all the one time posters above haven't been back since their singleton posts

Recently got the same problem and the fix has worked so far.
Peugeot Partner with 1.6 BlueHDI from 2017, same error codes as OP.
In my case it was the connector to the low pressure sensor: one of the pins shorted out, leading to a faulty connector and a shorted sensor.
I've replaced both the low pressure sensor (located in the back of the engine, near the ignition pump) and its 4-pin connector, so far so good.
