C3 Picasso trip computer question (facelift vs original)

Unread post by oneownerc3p »

We will shortly change our 2011 C3 Picasso for a similar car made in 2015 which is the facelift version. On the 2011 car you bring up the trip computer on the central screen by pressing the button on the end of the wiper stalk on the right side of the steering wheel. You can then scroll through the trips using the same button and also reset them. Once done after a few seconds the screen reverts to showing details like the time and outside temperature.
On the 2015 car the trip computer is on the screen all the time. Pushing the button on the wiper stalk allows you to scroll through the trips and also to reset them. On facelift cars is this the correct behaviour, i.e. the trip appear on the screen the whole time? I guess it is not as you then cannot see the time and outside temperature. Am I doing something wrong or does this show there is some kind of fault?

Thanks

I would think you can find the correct operation in the owner's manual. If you don't have one you can get one from here: https://www.manuals.co.uk/citroen/c3-pi ... 015/manual :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
