Purely for general interest, what did they charge for the work?

Surely nothing to BusybeasDS as it was done under warranty? However, what they charged Stellantis would be interesting to know.

Absolutely Nothing, Nada, Zilch..
Before the work , when I dropped it off, I had to sign a warranty claim, and they did the rest.
Never had any paperwork at all...
Just the master mechanic showed us to the car and talked us through what they had done and demo'd everything was working ok.
As mentioned above, they will clearly charge DS for their diagnostic and labour... suits me sir ;o)
The car is just 1 day off 2 years old, and has another 12 months remaining warranty.
Of course, I shall be extending the warranty when the time comes..
Modern cars as so loaded with tech, the costs can be quite scary when things do go wrong.
Hopefully the issue is resolved over the long term, only time will tell..

Dealers do not seem to give any paperwork for warranty jobs, we have never been given anything. I think labour rates for warranty work are lower than we would pay for work doing so a couple of hours might only be around £100 to £150 or if we paid around £250. Any parts replaced and the old ones are kept so not available to the car owner.

I'm sure they are, plus of course the VAT washes out as the dealer and Stallantis are VAT registered, we the end customer can't reclaim it when we pay for work so there's a 20% net difference. Good news that its fixed and that they could book you in quickly: maybe the DS owner experience is better than the Citroen one.PaulC5 wrote: 29 Apr 2026, 21:58 Dealers do not seem to give any paperwork for warranty jobs, we have never been given anything. Thanks for sharing the outcome.
