P1434.96 error code. Will it ever progress to a "STOP" light?

Unread post by Paul73 »

Hi, our 2017 2.0hdi 160 GP has thrown up the light for the additive pump. I plan to get it sorted but also wondered if, other than being annoying, there'd be any consequences to just continuously driving it and adding eolys manually at each fill up...

Would it progress to STOP from SERVICE?

Thanks in advance!

If the engine management light is on it might not pass the next MOT so it will need fixing by then even if adding fluid manually before each diesel fill helps stop the dpf getting blocked.
