Nemo knocking on startup

Hi Folks

Nemo when start seems ok leave it a few seconds will make a couple of knocks/kinda change pitch
Then go to normal and then sound like a bag of spanners for a few secs

Spoke to garage and they are unsure as it seems like if your playing the piano
all notes are the same and then drops 1

This nemo at 50k is costing me a lot in repairs this year

First thing to check is your oil level and quality. It sounds like it is taking time to lubricate the top end which may be due to lack of oil, over thick oil or possibly weak oil pump.

Might be worth doing another oil change i done it in january dipstick isnt showing low but maybe it is

Did you use a decent make of filter and the correct spec oil? Have a look at the video I posted earlier on the DIY Motoring thread in the Off Topic Chat Lounge.for some info about oil specs.

Hi i used Castrol 5w30 c2 oil
And bosch oil filter

Seems only like on idle to drop a like car starts and then drops note then goes back again
But you don't hear nothing when its driving

Could it be a bearing or something around by the belt with the alternator
Sounds odd but seems like a clutch or relay clicking
