This job is a fiddly faff but not difficult, no high torque fittings to overcome, no working under the car. From memory an 8mm, a 10 mm socket plus a torx fitting is all that's needed.

It is imperative that each connection is put in the same place on the new unit - and there is enough slack in the cable to do them one at a time - but otherwise it's is a pretty straightforward task to complete.

However if doing this replacement yourself, you do need to be thoroughly careful to ensure that you mark ALL the cable connections correctly to the exact locations
good advice, unless original connections were bad.
I've sourced a new BPGA module in the hope of fixing overactive economy mode/battery drain but this video has the two connectors to the module the other way around to mine...

Mein Fahrzeug hat die FIN:VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Erstzulassung 05/2016
Kannst Du mir sagen ob bei diesem Auto Plug and Play funktioniert?
BPGA
OEM Nr.967535038
Danke im Voraus

Hello Marc, I own a Peugeot 308 SW T9
MK II, 1.2 Allure 3 cylinder, which has a faulty BPGA!
According to Peugeot, a new module needs to be programmed or reprogrammed.
I have now read here in the thread that this is not necessary for some models!

My vehicle has the VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Can you tell me whether plug and play works with this car?

Hi, I ordered the part from eBay but it arrived with different serial number.
Mine is 9800223680
They delivered 9811475080
It should fit properly or I need to send it back and get exactly the one with same serial number ?

Hi there, my car has come up with the battery charge fault and the AA are pointing to the BPGA too, just wondered whether you could check my VIN and tell me if mine needs configuring or whether it is plug and play? Thanks very much!
