Well. Park brake now working.
BSI shows no faults .
ECU shows a string of faults I cant seem to be able to erase.

Hi Gary
Sorry, I've been sorting some jobs out and cleaning cars in this nice weather, so have missed your updates until now.
Glad you have everything back up and running - sometimes things just need to reset themselves - but it did look like you had a network communication / ECU error there with all those 'U' faults.
Keep an eye on things and see how you go and thanks for the donation too.

Re: No Start After Battery Change
Small return to this.
I tried using the car to jump start my sons the other day. Just connecting to the +ve terminal caused the issue to reappear!
So I cleaned up all the battery terminal and the bars that come off it, did a battery reset and all was good.
I was surprised to find when I plugged diagbox in to clear the engine light it told me I have a bulb out. Don't these give warnings on the dash? I've never had one.

Re: No Start After Battery Change
Same issues here actually. Nice to have a head start with the diagnostics. Will check the connector next to the battery as thats the only other thing I didnt check after the battery change. No communucation to the transmission was the error on the OBDII machine. So this sort of narrows it down to this comms link. Stuck in M after battery change. Parking system faulty. Ecomomy mode activating so makes it a nightmare to see even whats going on. Will post the findings here to let others know and google can index it.
