Diagbox User Manual

Unread post by steveclv »

Not sure if anyone needs this but as I received my box yesterday, I found this quite useful to get started.

Thank you so much! Is this the same as the Training Manual they give you on the official course do you know?

Thanks,

Barry.

The DIAGBOX manual can be accessed in any standard Diagbox tool in all languages.
However, this workshop aid originates from the initial version of the Diagbox (V05xx) – the principle still applies, of course – but the diagnostic interface has changed several times.

Morgen!

Thank you. I am not familiar with Diagbox as I've only really ever used Lexia but partner's Peugeot 3008 is 2013 so I will be getting to know Diagbox for sure.

This is getting split into two threads which is a bit confusing but here's a link to my post on the other thread which is now locked. :)

This information (user manual) can also be accessed in offline applications.
However, this only applies up to DB V07xx, e.g. 7.57.

From version 9.xx onwards, this information is no longer available.

Where to find it:
Open DB 7.xx – the interface does not need to be connected to the DB.
Then press the arrow key at the top left or press F1.
Then press the ?/Help key – the user manual will appear in the language selected for the application.

Alternatively:
On ‘C’, open the ‘AW-Root’ folder,
then the ‘dtrd’ folder,
then the ‘doc’ folder,
then the ‘Help’ folder,
and select the PDF in the desired language there – copy it if necessary.

Superb! Really useful info.

Thanks!
