1ltr, 4-speed = POWWWER !

Same as my white 3-door..... I had hopes that it would be Blue, sadly the Red White Blue line-up will have to wait. (never had a blue car in my life)

I think I have found the reason there is no fuel getting to Betsy's throttle body/injector....

It's great you've rescued Betsie Alasdair :D Under there you may well find a lovely little diamond

My long-range diagnosis of a failed fuel pump was pretty much spot-on then ;)

That's certainly suffered badly and if all down to E10 petrol, somewhat worrying. I'd be tempted to check your other AX and the Saxo you are involved with as they use a similar pump.

A grim looking result of using E10 petrol indeed! Further evidence confirming why I run both my old cars exclusively on Shell Vpower E5 !! :)

I think the ethanol thing is more of an issue on cars that sit more than a year, rust-wise at least (probably still makes rubber turn to concrete no matter how fresh).

I do have to strongly disagree on the Starmer thing though, the pump looks positively beautiful in comparison to the any decisions coming out of that excuse of a person.

That's why I'm keen to see a similar pump that's in regular use. Daffodil's may give us an answer to this Alasdair ;)

I can't help here as both mine have carburettors so no in-tank pumps...

Would a dehumidifier be of any use?

No...the 1000rpm spin cycle and a radiator sorted stage 1 :)

To fully desoggyfie one needs to chase down and plug the source
