Hi, I have a 2017 308 t9 that had a smeg unit, it was recently updated and coded to a nac wave2 unit.
There are firmware updates available according to the website https://sites.google.com/view/nac-rcc/ but I have seen in some forums that a license file is required which is generated through the VIN and the NAC module ID.
However since the NAC came from another vehicle with another VIN, how can I get the necessary license to make updates?

Did you discover how to do this?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

You don't really need the VIN to download the license, just the UIN (unique identifier number, AKA serial number) of your infotainment system is enough. I wrote about how to get that uin here: viewtopic.php?p=853357#p853357
