AX11 Citroen Radio/Cassette instructions

Can anyone point me at a document having instructions for the standard Citroen radio/cassette player that came factory fitted to AX11s ? It is badged as a Citroen unit. Thanks in advance.......

You may be able to dig something out from this site although you'll probably need to have a look at the manufacturer's sticker on your unit to identify it:

I can likely help as my AX11 still has her factory-fit radio (a Blaupunkt) and I do have a bit information on other fitments.

A photo of yours would be good, along with the exact model and year of your AX11...

Unfortunately I need to extract the unit from the dashboard in order to identify it. Part of the problem is extracting it! Had some useful hints about using cable ties.

K Reg AX 14TZD (1982-83) Original radio fitted - only identified as CITROEN on the cassette flap.

Looking for Instruction / User Manual. Managed to get it going recently - but has now reverted to showing 1111 on the LCD display.

It sounds as if the radio is loosing its memory 'keep alive' supply. I'm assuming the '1111' on the display indicates it requires its code to be entered and then once entered it works until the ignition is switched off...

The 'keep alive' supply should be present at all times and irrespective of the position of the ignition switch.

I will look out some wiring diagrams later so this can be checked.

FWIW, here's the wiring diagram for the radio...

Item 765 is the radio and Item 52 is the cabin fuse box...

Found 4 digit radio code.

Disconnected battery briefly - no change

Disconnected battery for a couple of hours - invited to enter code when reconnected.

Use Radio channel numbers to enter the 4 digit code.

Bingo !

Pretty much a fully functioning K-Reg Golden Citroen AX11.
