Tyre pressure issues

Unread post by gordon2903 »

Hi all, first post and new "problem" for me. eC4 2023 50kw UK model. Cannot find listing for correct tyre pressures, pretty much anywhere. No data sheet on any of the doors, nothing under bonnet. C4 manual is generic for all models, IC and Electric, and doesn't actually show pressure. Main online sites where you search by reg, eg Kwik Fit etc show my tyre size but under "pressure" they have "no data available". Although they do show pressures for larger tyre sizes. Is this a puzzle for us eC4 users to solve 😅 or is my car simply missing a data sheet. My local dealer simply says "around 34psi" which means they don't really know either.
Tyre size 195/60 R18. 96H. Extra Load.
Still on the factory fitted Michelin's, I bought used with very low miles and don't do lot of miles myself

Looking for a "normal" load pressure, don't ever have the car fully loaded

There should be a sticker in one of the door shuts with several information items on it including tyre pressures. Usually the driver's door but not always.

Thanks for replies guys. The online "tyre pressure.co.uk" link and info seems good, remember I when I first got car around 9 months ago I came up with 30/30 from an online search, and have been running on these pressures since then. However noticing both fronts were wearing on outer edges while still a decent tread depth to them led me to question if pressure was correct. But maybe this is electric car tyre issue. Definitely no data sheet on any of the door areas, as per the pic supplied, but thanks anyway.

On my 2025 C4 hybrid, same tyre size and profile, it's 2.4 bar front, 2.1 bar rear, and 2.6 f 2.7 r fully laden.

The label Is at the bottom of the B pillar, nearside ( trailing edge of passenger door). The handbook doesn't say what the pressures are but does have a section showing where the various labels are and what they show.

The e C4 might be a bit heavier and need higher pressures.

I wonder why the sticker is missing, has the car been resprayed where it should be located ? I have yet to own a Citroen/Peugeot that did not have the sticker on a door pillar. As well as tyre pressures it gives the rpo number which equates to the date of manufacture and at which factory if there are letters after the rpo number and also the paint code.

I wonder why the sticker is missing,

Maybe the sticker sticking robot wanted one to decorate its lunchbox and the sticker stick QC check robot was afraid of the sticker sticking robot so didn't dare complain.
:rofl2:

My daughter has just arrived in her 2023 petrol C4, sticker is on B pillar drivers side. I wonder how many committee meetings it took to decide the sticker location change for the facelift model.

They probably changed from a right handed robot to a left handed one! :-D
