Did you finally contact Citroen using the app and they let you know they'd sent an update? All directly from the app?I also had a problem with the BSRF, I also replaced it and shortly after I received two updates, one for the antenna and one for the IVI. At Moment i am Stuck at 1.20.93.7 since december.

First, you need to contact the importer (after sales support), and they will then send you a list of questions about the issue. They’ll also instruct you to first submit a ticket via the contact form in the MyCitroën app. After that, the importer uses your answers to open a ticket with the manufacturer and refers to the form you submitted yourself.

Update: Since the successful update, no new updates have appeared. I’ve done several drives longer than 30 minutes. The car is a petrol engine, not a hybrid.

Update:

Today, a new update notification appeared. Unfortunately, it failed again at 5%—it was an update of around 155 MB, which I believe is the same one that originally failed the first time. After I reported the issue back then, the manufacturer pushed a smaller 5 MB update, which installed successfully.

I’ve once again sent the relevant information about this failed update to the importer’s after-sales team, and I hope they will resume the previous ticket with the manufacturer tomorrow.

Update – Major Firmware Upgrade Installed

After some back-and-forth with the importer because of the 153mb failed update, and then 0.04mb and 0.02mb failed update, they opened a new ticket with the manufacturer. In response, the manufacturer pushed the 20.93 update, which then triggered the appearance of a 1.23 GB update. This finally delivered the long-awaited firmware upgrade.

Notable improvements:

Much more responsive interface – faster menu navigation and smoother map scrolling.

Updated cockpit graphics – refreshed display visuals.

Connected Services menu now functional – previously blank, it now shows detailed information.

Overall, the system feels faster, more polished, and fully functional.

However, after the major firmware update, a 153 MB update appeared again and failed once more. I’ll be opening another ticket with the importer on Monday to address this recurring issue.

Hello, I have the same problem with my Peugeot 308. The car would not update, the connected services were not working, and I received the same error codes as you. The BSRF antenna was replaced, and during the repair, I received emails indicating that the services were active. My BSRF version is the same as yours. However, two days after the replacement, I lost 4G, which switched to 2G, and the SOS light remains red. I am also no longer receiving trip reports and the car is still not requesting updates.

Hello everyone,

I own a Citroën C5 X (model year 2023).
After an automatic OTA (over-the-air) software update performed by the vehicle,
the multimedia system stopped working properly.

Since the update:
- the instrument cluster display behind the steering wheel no longer works,
- the radio has no sound.

The vehicle was checked by an authorized Citroën dealer.
I was informed that the radio unit may be faulty after the software update
and that replacement might be required.

From my understanding, this appears to be a software-related failure
triggered by the OTA update, rather than a wear-and-tear or consumable issue.

Before proceeding further, I would like to ask:
- has anyone experienced a similar issue after an OTA update on the C5 X?
- was the problem resolved by software reprogramming / reflash?
- or was replacement of the module necessary in your case?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.
