Final update on the boss's 3008.
I was told this morning to get in touch with the new mechanic in town. Apparently, thankfully, he works about 5 minutes walk from our house. He came, listened to my sob story, then did what my next step was going to be. Check fuse F8 (which I can't now remember what it controls). And it was also blown. Fuse F1 was also blown and I had changed that on Saturday.
Goodness knows how much he's going to charge for doing what my next step was going to be. But what do I care?
If anyone is interested, please ask and I'll find definitely what the two fuses are that were blown. They were both 20A, or supposed to be. The one which was replaced today was a 25A fuse.
