Hi
I have Peugeot 308 1.6Hdi, 5-speed manual gearbox ,VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].
How much gear oil if I want to change it?
Also do I top up the new gear oil via the side under the wheel arch or from the top of the gear box under the battery?

Assuming you have a 6-speed manual gearbox:
This is what a gearbox with fins looks like. This should be like yours
And this is a gearbox without fins.
There is no side filler on these gearboxes, you have to put a measured amount of oil in through the breather which is on the top of the gearbox.
