Maps update (Africa) for Peugeot 5008 2026

Hello! I'm just new here and have been searching for updates of my map for my new car Peugeot 5008 2026 GT, I tried to ask the official seller here, but they didn't know how to do it!
I have found WAVE-4 updates for map, but afraid that may break/damage my system. I can see the navigation is working and detecting all motions, only issue is that doesn't detect my country which is "Egypt"..

If you can please help me in this and let me know how can I be safe while updating as I'm so afraid I may break the system.

Surely, if your car is a 2026 model the dealer should be able to add the necessary maps for you under warranty?

Maybe Stellantis doesn't support maps for Egypt? That was the case for New Zealand a few years ago, but their solution was to delete navigation from NZ spec vehicles.

That's what should be tbh! When I asked them about it to do, they were like dump enough to say that they don't know how or that they can't do it.
So annoying from them, like everything is in place, just update the map! Like I can navigate to France in the maps I can see everything there is shown, and it even detect my location, just need to update the map information that's it.

Don't know tbh, but it should be like something easy to be done, it's just a map! I'm not asking for like services/stops/live updates, all I need normal maps for Egypt to be able to use without Android auto for navigation, specially that it doesn't support wireless android auto, only Apple car play that can be used wireless! It's so annoying when it comes that part also.

Hi i have the same and living also gere in Egypt:

You have 3 option :

Gps is display on car play or android auto on the main dash (the one on the left) with apple maps and waze (not google maps)
You can add egypt maps connecting the car on wifi and download egypt map to reach that:

Go on peugeot UK, put your vin number, subscribe for the 2 month for free of tom tom live traffic. It will update your car after a few hours. After that go to navigation and update the maps and install egypt
