Hello,
I recently replaced the NOX sensor on my 2018 Peugeot Boxer 2.0 AdBlue HDI diesel. It only has the one. I disconnected the battery during the replacement and cleared the error after reconnecting (P2202). I haven't seen any further errors since --- but I'm not sure if the new NOX sensor is performing. I get the following counts. All counts seem to be increasing except the NOx Absorber which is 0. Should the count increase? Not sure how to confirm the new NOX sensor is speaking to the rest of the system? Any advice on checks is greatly appreciated. The new NOX sensor is a genuine replacement and supercedes the previous number.

Did you reinitialise the NOx system after fitting the new sensor? Just deleting any error codes won't be enough.

Hi.
No I didn't reinitialise the NOX system. I disconnected battery to reset the ECU only. What nneds to be done to reintialise the NOX system. I was told the new NOX sensor was plug and play --- but also hearing it should be calibrated?

You will need a Diagbox or other high end diagnostic machine. From memory you go into the engine (also sometimes called injection) ECU and then into pack repair. It's there somewhere!

Re: Is my new NOX sensor working?
Thank you for info. If the new NOX sensor wasn't talking to the rest of the system, wouldn;t there ba a comunication error?
Just spoke to my local garage who wants £120 to do it plus an additional £40 for a token from Peugeot to connect the the vehicle. Does this sound right? Any one know anywhere in Cheshire who can do this who knows exactly what needs to be done.

Re: Is my new NOX sensor working?
You don't need to connect to the dealer network to do this.
I'm just up the road in Wirral if that's any help? My Diagbox is currently out of action but my Xtool D8W should be able to do it. I reset the Denox system on our 308 last week with it.

How much do you charge? I had a mate try to connect his Autel MS906 Max - but he couldn't get it to connect so thinking Diagbox was the only route
