The clutch pedal started making a clicking noise when the pedal gets pressed about 90% of the way down - only happens when pressing, not releasing.
Did some investigation and the noise seems to be coming from the top of the clutch pedal. When the pedal is depressed the 2 small white plastic lugs move and clicking noise made.
Ive got a video clip which picks up the noise and movement really well, just not sure how to upload?
Anyway, something is moving and creating the noise but not sure what that part is, what it does, if it's a easy fix?

This recent thread might be relevant! https://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/ ... hp?t=86740 On the second page there is a note about the clip wearing out, I suspect this is what is happening to yours.

Re: Clutch pedal click - C4 Grand Spacetourer
watched the video from that thread - really good walk through and thought I could tackle this myself
Purchased the clip for the grand total of £16 from Citroen and got the tools out
I followed the video, carefully removing the battery, battery tray etc.......now had a good view of the back of the engine bay. Everything was in the wrong place and all I could see was the brake servo.
Soon dawned on me the video is for a left hand drive vehicle
not a right hand drive!
Put it all back together and will attempt it another day

Re: Clutch pedal click - C4 Grand Spacetourer
I had a click on my Fiat 500x clutch when it was close to the top of travel. All I did was spray lithium grease with one of these straw attachments to the can targeting the moving parts above the pedal. Job done

Re: Clutch pedal click - C4 Grand Spacetourer
To change this clip you can do everything from within the car
Tools for the job
T40 Torx
T15 Torx
13mm socket
13mm spanner
Trim removal tools
flat head screwdriver
Remove the 2 bits of trim
Then remove 3 plastic clips, once the felt panel drops, disconnect the light
Unscrew 5 x T15 Torx, disconnect the 4 electrical connectors and remove the panel
Use the 13mm socket to remove the nut from the bolt of the clamp on the bottom of the steering column. Swing the steering column out the way.
Use the T40 Torx and 13mm spanner, remove the bolt on the clutch pedal
The clutch pedal will now drop and the clip will become accessible
Use the flat headed screwdriver (its not ideal but it'll do) to push the clip out of the clutch pedal - its quite difficult.
Replace with a new clip and fit everything back together in the reverse order
